We were meandering around Michigan and came across the Mushroom Cap Motel by pure chance. By far, the best place we stayed in our week there.

The management and staff were very friendly, the room was absolutely fantastic, the beds were clean, the bathroom was fully stocked with towels, and it had a beautiful view of the farmland behind the building.
This was one of the nicest places we have stayed for the price. You can save between $150 and $200 per night and get a beautiful place within driving distance of everything you want to do.
I could not recommend this place enough. Please support a local business. Stay here.

Our stay was a wonderful experience! The people at the desk were very helpful. The rooms had been renovated with great beds and new pillows. The room very spacious with a mini fridge and it was nice to unplug for a couple of days. The location was perfect for us, close to Traverse City. This is a hidden gem and would stay again!
